CGATE Marine was founded in 2025 as part of the CGATE Logistics Group — with a clear vision: to take ship spare parts logistics to a new level. What began as a specialised unit has developed consistently ever since into one of the most capable providers of marine spare parts logistics in Germany.
From Founding to Specialization
In 2025 we took a strategic step: renaming from HML to CGATE Marine and structurally realigning our company. This step was more than just a new name — it expressed our consistent focus on the specialist field of ship spare parts and recognised the expertise our team brings. At the same time, we spun off and strategically strengthened our specialist department for ship spare parts. By acquiring a market leader in this highly specialised segment, we integrated exceptional expertise — particularly in onboard delivery, the last and often most critical mile in maritime logistics.
